Thank You SO much Kathryn, I DID tell Peter that, and he said "That helps so much to know there are other people out there who feel exactly like a "second class citizen". Even on some of the TP group sites, it is hard because I know a lot of people…

Hi All! When I first heard the doctor say the words "You need a liver transplant, plain and simple. You have cirrhosis and it has progressed too far for any other type of treatment." I was numb for a few days. I had always known having Hepatitis C,…

Hi Ashley-
I'm sorry I was such a stranger to this group for so long. I would be happy to support you but remember, I am a recipient and not a caregiver. Caregivers have by far the harder job. My best to you.

About Me:
I am the wife of a wonderful man who has given me the best 10 years of my life.
Now, he needs a liver transplant, but we have not let that fact destroy us, or make us fall apart, as a matter of fact, we have met some of the greatest people we have ever known from the whole TP support network! God never shuts a door without opening a window, is what I say.
There is ALWAYS hope, and ALWAYS we thank God for life. and to the heroes who have or will donate organs, we say Thank You, and God Bless You always.
